Crowd Fun During Qualifying For The 2012 British Grand Prix
A few bits of crowd footage put together from the Qualifying session for the 2012 British GP.
Qualifying was delayed due to an intense downpour.
With the lack on-track action, the crowd began to entertain themselves. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the weekend, indeed of all the Grand Prix I've attended.
For nearly half an hour, the crowd performed repetitive Mexican Waves, starting from the first corner at Abbey, going all the way along the Start / Finish Straight, round Club Corner, to The Vale. The waves even continued round to Stowe Corner!
A few waves in, and the Pit Lane began to participate. Teams came out to wave, drivers too, officials, even some rather reluctant marsh...

Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton have a certain level of consistency which is why they are the only ones who can dominate. If any other driver were to hop into those cars they drove, they probably wouldn't be able to pick up 7 world titles and decimate the opposition the way these guys did with ease. I believe even Max's reign might end after regulations change
This is why I listen to their peers and not biased fanboys. It's funny how even Max says Lewis is one of the greatest, but his fanboys can't say it.
If you look closely at the end of the video it shows none other than a Ronnie O’Sullivan, another 7 time World Champion, another absolute G.O.A.T!👏👏👏
I don't think at that moment if he realise the guy who he's talking will beat him in the future.

Schumacher, Mansell and first two or three season of Hamilton's drives gave be a deep BUZZ - after DRS F1 was dead.
Hamilton went too weird for me, and DRS destroyed any enjoyment I got from F1, but I did enjoy a first couple of Hamilton's years before I stopped watching the crap show.

Just shows how people who actually understand formula 1 realise how good of a driver Lewis is. Nowadays the sport is full of verstappen fanboys or drive to survive fans who think Lewis is only good because of the car. He’s always been a great driver even in the V8 era.

Please spare us. F1 has always had politics in it. In 1985 James Hunt while calling the South African GP went into an all out attack on the South African Government and Apartheid. Multiple teams had also boycotted that race
